Jessica Muschamp's most recent screen credits are soon-to-be released projects. She played Leah, a military mother in the short film "No Way Home" (2017) and Dr. Lavinia Skabb, the scheming school principal in the web series "Drama Club" (2017) Jessica has been acting professionally for 30 years. Her first role, at the age of 16, was in the 1987 children’s mini series “Dusty-The Series”, directed by Colin Budds, alongside Asher Keddie and John Jarrett. This was followed by a two year/three season stint in Neighbours. Jessica’s vintage of Neighbours is often fondly referred to as the ‘good old days’, and her co-stars included Anne Charleston, Alan Dale, Jason Donovan, Craig McLachlan, Guy Pearce and Ian Smith. Her character, teenage tearaway Sharon Davies, was extremely popular in Australia and in the UK, particularly with young girls and women looking for positive and realistic role models. While in Neighbours, she made regular appearances on other Australian TV shows including “Tonight Live with Steve Vizard”, “The Comedy Company”, Saturday morning kids’ TV, and she co-hosted two World Vision 40 hour famine specials. After leaving Neighbours, Jessica moved to the UK where she worked extensively in the theatre, including a number one regional theatre tour of a new play “Teething Troubles” with Gary Wilmot, as well as a summer season in the farce “Don’t Dress For Dinner”. Her roles in panto include Snow White, Cinderella and the Princess in Aladdin. Jessica played Nancy in “Oliver” at the Theatre Royal Margate with Upstairs Downstairs alumnus Christopher Beeney, and at the Buxton Festival of New Musicals she played the role of Gloria in “Tilly the Musical,” with Simon Burke and Jill Gascoigne. The music & lyrics of Tilly were by Gary Young and Tony Rees. She worked on the children’s film “Jim’s Gift” (where she met her future husband who was an A.D! ) and appeared on many UK TV shows including This Morning with Richard and Judy, Going Live!, The 8:15 from Manchester, Noel Edmunds Roadshow, The Krankies and Saturday Night Live (UK version). Jessica trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, graduating with a Classical Diploma in 1995.
